"Creatures In My Room" is a truly engaging story with several lessons for youngsters and Debra Harrison has uniquely blended her words and illustations to make those lessons come to life. Her words contain sound advice for the youth of today and the illustrations jump off the page and tell a story within a story. As the father of a nine year old, I enjoyed watching my daughter read "Creatures In My Room" over and over again in wonder as she uncovered new meanings with each reading. However, the most astounding thing about this story is that upon reading it for the first time, she immediately went upstairs and cleaned her room! Truly amazing!!!
